Longview Habitat for Humanity
Habitat homes are built with the labor of the future homeowners and community volunteers - of all ages, talents, and skill levels. Most volunteers come to our work sites as members of a group (church, school, civic). But many individuals catch "Habititus" and become regulars on our Saturday or weekday crews. Habitat provides training and skilled supervisors (and always needs more!) so that our homes are well built and volunteers have a positive, safe experience. Let us know what your skills and/or interests are; we'll put you to work!

Longview HFH Volunteer Opportunities:

Construction opportunities are available Wednesdays and Saturdays. Complete the on-line registration

The Habitat ReSTORE has volunteer opportunities available including re-stocking sales merchandise, organizing departmental inventory, cleaning, assisting with pick ups of donated items, and assisting customers with locating merchandise.  Email Restore@longviewhabitat.org for more information, complete the on-line registration

Non-Construction opportunities are available Monday through Friday in the Habitat office. It takes a lot more than hammering to provide families in need with decent and affordable homes. Habitat relies on volunteers to help with all those non-glamorous, but just as necessary and important, tasks needed to run any organization. Complete the on-line registration or attend our monthly in-person orientation (see website calendar) to register as a volunteer.

** OFFICE VOLUNTEER NEEDED**  We are in need of a skilled website developer to help us re-build this site .   We also need data entry volunteers on an ongoing basis.

If you would like more information, please contact our Operations Manager, Donna Shupe, at (903) 236-0900 EXT. 204 or by e-mail at [[ email ]]
